DIY No-Knit Chunky Yarn Wreath for Autumn

This wreath is a wrap, not a knit. If you can wind yarn around a circle, you can finish it in an hour.

What you need

  • A wire or foam wreath form
  • Chunky yarn in one or two fall colours
  • Scissors and a ribbon

Tie on

Knot the yarn to the form. You will hide the knot as you wrap.

Wrap tightly

Each pass sits next to the last. Gaps show the form, so keep going until the ring looks full.

Change colour once

If you use a second colour, switch halfway. More than two colours starts to look busy.

Hang it

A ribbon loop at the top is the hanger. A bow is optional.
