How to Make a DIY Dried Orange and Wheat Harvest Wreath

Dried oranges and wheat make a wreath that smells like the season and does not need flowers from a shop.
What you need
- Orange slices dried in a low oven until leathery
- A wreath form
- Wheat or tall dried grass
- Floral wire or hot glue, used by an adult
Dry the fruit
Thin slices, low heat, a few hours. They should be dry, not burnt. Do this the day before.
Attach the wheat
Bundle short handfuls and wire them so they all lean the same way around the ring.
Add oranges
Five to seven slices is enough. Space them. A wreath covered edge to edge looks heavy.
Hang
A ribbon at the top. This wreath is lighter than a pine one, so a hook is plenty.
