DIY Paper Chain and Holly Garlands for Vintage Holiday Charm

Paper garlands are the decoration children can actually make. A chain and a holly strand are enough for a doorway.

Paper chain

Strips the width of two fingers. Loop, glue, loop. Alternate cream and sage, or use one colour.

Holly

Cut simple leaf shapes and small red circles for berries. Glue them along a thread in little clusters.

Hang

Across a window or along a shelf. Tape at the ends, not every link.
