DIY Felt Acorn and Pinecone Garland for Mantels

This garland stays up from late November into December because it is not only pumpkins and not only baubles.

What you need

• Felt in honey and brown
• Small pinecones
• Twine and a needle

Acorns

Cut an oval nut and a small cap. Glue or stitch the cap on. You need about ten.

String

Tie pinecones and acorns along the twine with uneven gaps. Even spacing looks stiff.

Hang

Drape it once across the mantel. Do not swag it three times unless the mantel is very wide.
