DIY Pinecone Monsters and Animals: Easy Fall Crafting

Pinecones are the body. Everything else is paper. That is the whole craft, and it works from age three up.

What you need

  • Dry pinecones
  • Paper, felt scraps, or leaves
  • Glue and something for eyes

Monster

Glue two eyes on the wide end. Add paper teeth. Stop before it gets crowded.

Owl

Two paper circles for eyes and a small triangle beak. A leaf on each side can be a wing.

Mouse

Paper ears at the top and a yarn tail tucked into the bottom scales.

Let them dry upright

Sit the pinecone in a bottle cap so the glue does not slide off overnight.
