What to Expect at Open Studio Sessions at The Imagination Hive

A child painting at a low table in a bright art studio

An open studio drop-in in Milton is a come-as-you-are art hour. There is no class to keep up with. It is a sensory friendly kids art studio in Halton for families who want to make something and leave the mess with us.

You do not need a project

Paints, paper, and materials are in the room. Children choose what to make. A caregiver can sit with a younger child or let an older one explore.

Who it suits

Open Studio fits toddlers through older children, including children who do better with a calm room and a short visit. Stay for the session that feels right.

What to bring

Clothes that can meet paint. We are a nut and peanut free studio at Unit 12, 700 Nipissing Road in Milton. Tell us about allergies when you arrive.

How booking works

Drop-in passes are booked on the events page. If you want a regular class instead, the programs page lists School Readiness, Junior Makers, and the other weekly groups.
