Easy DIY Halloween Masks and Headbands You Can Make in an Hour
Masks and headbands save a costume when the rest of the outfit is just black clothes. Paper, elastic, and paint are the whole kit.
Cat mask
Cut an oval, two eye holes, and two triangles for ears. Paint, then staple elastic to the sides. Check the eye holes before the paint dries.
Bat mask
The same oval, with pointed paper wings glued to each side.
Pumpkin headband
A paper strip that fits the head, plus a pumpkin shape glued at the front. A paper stem on top is the last piece.
Comfort
Elastic should sit without pinching. If it slips, a paper clip on the end lets you tighten it.
